At our Buckler family reunion in September of 1998 family members decided to fund the creation of a web site which would be a source of news and information for those of us with access to the World Wide Web. The page was launched in October of 1998, more or less as an experiment. There was enough interest in the early incarnation of the site to continue development and in March of 1999 the domain name Bucklers.org was obtained. Since that time the site has evolved and become a source of communication to our family members here in New England as well as across the country.

Over the ensuing months the site has brought together distant family members from across the United States and the world. The list currently includes Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand. We look forward to hearing from more Bucklers from these and other countries.
